Katharina Joy Book 

is a writer and performance maker.

 

Recent works include Yours Now (solo, Prague 2022), Tornado Watch with Eszter Koncz (HKW, Berlin 2021) and Sandbox with Dora Rodriguez (Studio ALTA, Prague 2021).

 

Her writing in poetry and non-fiction has been published in Critical Interruptions Vol I, and online in content journal, ­ magazine and on the isthisit? gallery platform.

 

She works with Ariel Efraim Ashbel and friends as an assistant director and stage manager, most recently on THE NAMES/שמות (HAU2, Berlin January 2023) and MOONSTRUCK: in praise of shadows (HAU1, Berlin 2021).

She has a BA in Performance Design and Practice from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London and is currently studying for an MA in Directing of Devised and Object Theatre at DAMU, Prague.
